Elektro electric actuator drive range

The Elektro range of electric drives offered by Metal Work Pneumatic has the same overall dimensions as ISO 15552 pneumatic cylinders. This allows replacement of a pneumatic air cylinder without the need for any mechanical alterations, and as an added bonus, all the accessories of traditional cylinders can be used.

If the application requires controlled ramping of acceleration and deceleration during the stroke of the cylinder, the ability to accurately stop at any point or points of the stroke with high repeatability, or higher forces and accuracy than normal pneumatics, then an electric cylinder undoubtedly performs this role much better than a conventional pneumatic actuator.

The Elektro family of actuators can be offered as a complete solution, allowing users to simply specify a few key requirements in regards to stroke, speed, load and orientation and a fully supported solution can be offered including the electric drive, servo or stepper motors and motor driver. Alternatively users can select hardware-only solutions based on size and specifications and use their own motor and drive combinations.
