AC servomotors

The short mechanical time constant of the Mavolor MA Series AC servomotors makes them suitable for control operations, while an extremely short electrical time constant provides high peak torque at high speed. A high ‘theoretical’ acceleration also gives an extremely fast response time.

The absence of commutator bars also means that these motors have a high stall torque, while low thermal resistance provides low working temperatures.

With a high power-to-weight ratio, these motors are suitable for manipulator mounted motors. For many applications a separate position sensor is not required, as the resolver can be used for deriving a position feedback signal as well as speed/current information.
