Beckhoff wins Windows Embedded Partner Excellence Award
PC-based automation components and systems manufacturer, Beckhoff, has received the 2008 Windows Embedded Partner Excellence Award in recognition of its innovative and creative application of Windows Embedded technology.
Microsoft bestows the award on companies in recognition of especially successful embedded applications.
According to Manoj Rami, senior marketing manager of Microsoft Windows Embedded Business, EMEA, Beckhoff received the award in recognition of its outstanding developments based on Windows Embedded and its committed marketing of the Embedded version CE 6.0 R2.
Beckhoff has developed a variety of equipment and solutions based on Windows Embedded, including the TwinCAT automation software for the creation of real-time control systems under Windows XP Embedded and Windows CE.
