ASP distribution agreement

ControlVision Australia has entered into an agreement with Cognex Corporation to become an automation solution provider (ASP) for the company's In-Sight vision sensor and PC-based Vision Pro products.

ControlVision will complement Cognex's existing Australian ASPs - Automation Systems & Controls and SmartSensors.

Distribution sales manager for Cognex, Chris Pitt said: "We are very pleased to be working with ControlVision. I believe that their excellent pedigree in the machine vision industry and proven expertise in providing successful vision solutions will help further Cognex's penetration and growth in the vision market in Australia."
