Adept Electronic Solutions has announced the Adept Vision Alliance Partner Program (AVAPP). The program is an initiative developed by Adept to create a level of cooperation with key machine builders and automation systems integrators throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Through this initiative, together with partners, Adept's goal is to provide a coordinated, professional machine vision offering, and to supply state-of-the-art customised vision inspection solutions to our end customers across all industries and sectors.

Adept is inviting those integrators that have the appropriate personnel and expertise to join with Adept in providing the best possible solution for the machine vision industry.

Potential partners will:

  • demonstrate a proven ability to meet the demands of our market
  • be already involved with those industries and customers that require vision inspection
  • supply other technology or services that are complementary to vision (such as automation and robotics), if they are not a specialist vision integrator
  • be appointed as partners to the AVAPP at Adept's sole discretion

Adept's cornerstone products for the AVAPP are the Dalsa iPD Vision Appliances and software for which Adept is the exclusive Oceania supplier. Dalsa Vision Appliances are a relatively new but well proven technology and are redefining the market for intelligent vision systems.

In conjunction with Dalsa Vision Appliances products, Adept is also offering partners access to its full range of industrial cameras, lenses, filters, lighting, lasers, cabling, power, light controllers, camera mounts and other accessories. Alongside these products, Adept offers expert technical and product support to ensure that its end customers get optimal solutions on time.

Adept has also formed alliances with other major automation equipment manufacturers and so can now close the loop for its partners by ensuring its vision products work seamlessly with complementary equipment.
