National Instruments cRIO-9082 control system
The high-performance multicore NI cRIO-9082 system provides advanced Intel Core i7 dual-core processing at 1.33 GHz, built-in VGA display output for an integrated user interface, and the option to use a Windows Embedded Standard 7 (WES7) or LabVIEW Real-Time OS.
The cRIO-9082 also provides 32 GB of non-volatile storage and 2 GB of 800 MHz DDR3 RAM.
The increased processing power of the system makes it well suited to perform the advanced processing tasks required by complex applications such as machine vision and rapid control prototyping.
The high-performance multicore system also offers the widest array of connectivity and expansion options available in the CompactRIO platform, including the high-bandwidth and low-latency MXI-Express bus for expansion using the 14-slot MXI-Express RIO chassis. An 8-slot Spartan-6 LX150 FPGA chassis is built in. Other ports are two serial expansion ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports and four USB ports. The operating temperature range is 0-55°C.
The NI CompactRIO product family includes a wide variety of controllers, reconfigurable chassis and hot-swappable C Series I/O modules. Currently, there are more than 50 C Series I/O modules for different measurement types including voltage, current, resistance and digital signals.
