TE large horizontal servo control hydraulic tensile testing machines

Bestech has available a range of large horizontal servo control hydraulic tensile testing machines from TE. These massive machines have load capacities of 500 up to 15,000 kN. Smaller size, vertical hydraulic testers are also available.

The series of hydraulic tensile testing machines are suitable for tensile tests for anchors and anchor chains used on ships, steel-wire rope, cables and other flexible specimens.

The load frame for this series is of a horizontal construction and the testing space can be adjusted according to the requirements of the user. The PC and electrohydraulic servo system controls the actuator to add the testing load, so it can automatically perform tests requiring constant load rate, constant displacement rate, cycling, creep (constant load) or stress relaxation (constant displacement). The user can also use the automatic control to create more complex load sequences through the intelligent programming system. The Windows software will automatically collect the testing data and curves, display results with automatic processing and store the data onto disc.

The machine is also equipped with an ethernet system interface. A 2000 kN machine with tensile clearance of 17,000 mm and ram stroke of 1000 mm can be set up for a user application. The accuracy of the specimen elongation is to within 1% FS, and test load accuracy can be 0.5% of the indicated value. The resolution of crosshead displacement is 0.02 mm.
