Wincomm WTP-8865 panel PC

Wincomm’s WTP-8865 series IP65 rugged panel PC has been enhanced by adding a low reflective touch panel to provide a solution for applications in bright lighting environments.

The WTP-8865 can be used freestanding or mounted on a swivel arm for HMI for CNC machines. The WTP-8865 series panel PC can be used as a shop floor terminal at chemical and steel plants where there is high exposure to liquid spray, heat and airborne particles. The panel PC can also be used in food, beverage, pharmaceuticals and farming production lines where daily cleaning with pressure water is required.

The 316 stainless steel enclosure of the WTP-8865 has no exposed ventilation slots or housing gaps. For I/O connections, a sealing cover with seven waterproof connectors has been added, and the optional PCMCIA slot is covered with a sealing plate, while the optional 802.11 b/g mini PCI-e wireless module is equipped with a waterproof antenna.

The WT-8865’s computing core is the Intel Atom N270 processor with Mobile 945GSE Express chipset. Different threshold temperatures are preset either for fanless running or variable fan speed running. With this fan control design, the WT-8865 can be used in a 40 °C ambient operating temperature. By further adapting wide-range temperature components (especially for HDD and memory), the system can run at up to 55 °C ambient operating temperature.
