Wincomm has released the WTP-8865-15O, an all-round, IP65-rated 15″ panel PC. Designed to withstand extreme temperatures and harsh environments, the WTP-8865-15O is suitable for outdoor applications.
The WTP-8865-15O enclosure has full IP65 protection rating and is coated in anti-corrosion black powder. Its design protects it from moisture condensation. The smart thermal control with variable fan speed heats or cools the WTP-8865-15O, allowing it to operate in wide temperature conditions from -25 to 55°C.
The 15″ LED backlit resistive touch display has a brightness of 1600 cd/m2. With auto-dimming, anti-UV and optical bonding, the display is sunlight readable and hardened to protect it from the elements.
The PC’s processing power comes from an Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz processor on a 945GSE chipset. The mini-PCIe expansion slot can be used for the optional 802.11b/g Wi-Fi kit, which is supplied with a waterproof external antenna.
