Moxa DA-820 rackmount embedded computer with PRP/HSR
The DA-820 rackmount embedded computers from Moxa are said to be the world’s first native PRP/HSR management servers that provide bumpless redundancy, enabling efficient, visualised PRP/HSR network management.
The DA-820’s main operating system runs on the lntel Quad core i7-3612QE CPU and QM77 chipset, which supports tow VGA ports, USB, two Gigabit LAN ports and two RS232/422/485 3-in-1 serial ports. The DA-820 is equipped with a 4-SATA disk interface and by default supports RAID 0/1/5/10 functionality.
It is specifically designed for substation applications that require precise time synchronisation and compliance with IEC 61850-3 standards. The DA-820’s flexible design makes it suitable for local SCADA, environmental monitoring, video surveillance, protocol conversion and PRP/HSR redundancy applications, and Moxa’s OS Smart Recovery API handles system crashes automatically.
