The CB 752 embedded box PC is now available for ambient temperatures from -15 to +60°C.

The improved temperature tolerance makes the compact CB 752 suitable for use in transportation, automation, medical, POS and digital signage applications, as well as in many other unheated and non air-conditioned work environments that do not necessarily require the industrial temperature range (E2) -40°C to +85°C.

The energy-efficient CB 752 features a fanless design in a rugged aluminium chassis for an MTBF specified at approximately 100,000 h, which corresponds to continuous operation of about 11 years (24/7). In addition to a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor technology and support for 2 GB of DDR2 RAM, the CB 752 offers industry-standard interfaces such as RS232, RS422/485, digital I/Os, an optional CAN interface and two gigabit ethernet interfaces. For wireless communication, the box PC is also available with an optional wireless LAN. Custom extensions are also possible via a Mini PCI Express slot.

Supported operating systems include Linux, Microsoft Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded and Windows CE 6.0.
