Fanless panel PCs

Interworld Electronics has released the APC-3x16 series all-in-one fanless panel PCs. The APC-3x16 series are sealed to NEMA 4/IP65 specifications on five sides to provide protection from dust and liquid contaminates.

The APC-3x16 series are Intel PentiumM 1.5 GHz or Celeron 1.0 GHz PCs combined with a flat-panel, high-brightness LCD screen and housed in a slim black steel enclosure. Models include the APC-3516 supplied with a 15" 450 cd/m² 1024 x 768 resolution LCD, the APC-3716 supplied with a 17" LCD and the APC-3916 supplied with a 19" LCD screen. Both the 17 and 19" LCDs provide 300 cd/m² luminance and support resolutions up to 1280 x 1024.

All models support 1 GB of 200/266/333 MHz DDR SDRAM, an internal 2.5" hard drive, an internal CompactFlash drive and provide a PCI slot for system expansion. Rear panel I/O includes three COM ports, four USB 2.0 ports, two gigabit LAN ports, one external VGA port and audio I/O. Optional analog resistive touch screens and CD-ROM mounting kits can also be fitted.

The APC-3x16 series is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from 0 to 50 °C with a non-condensing relative humidity of 5 to 90% at 40 °C. The APC-3x16 series can be panel mounted or VESA 75 mounted on a range of commercially available arms and brackets.

The APC-3x16 series requires 16 to 28 VDC and can be powered from an appropriate AC or DC supply.
