Embedded control PCs

The Boxer series of products are high-performance standalone embedded PCs featuring: fanless operation, compact size, robust construction, low power requirements, high vibration/shock protection, wide operating temperature range and certificated embedded OS support.

Processor options range from the AEC-6810-A1 with VIA Eden 667MHz processor to the AEC-6910 series with Pentium-M 2.0GHz processor.

Boxer controllers include a range of I/O connections. Models are available with VGA, keyboard, mouse, ethernet, multiple USB and serial ports, printer port, digital I/O, audio and TV-out. Storage and drive options include CompactFlash, PCMCIA slots, optional 2.5" hard drives and CD-ROM/DVD.

The series is housed in robust compact enclosures that are designed to meet the rugged requirements of mobile vehicle installations, factory floor and remote standalone control applications.

Depending on the model, these products can withstand temperatures from -15 to 60°C, 5-95% humidity at 40°C (non-condensing), vibrations up to 6 g at 5-500 Hz (CompactFlash drive option) and shock up to 100 g peak acceleration (11 ms duration).

The AEC-6710 is housed in an IP-67 sealed waterproof case that can be immersed in water up to 1 m deep, making it suitable for hose down factory or marine environments.
