Aaeon AEC-6831 embedded PC controller

The AEC-6831 is a Boxer Series embedded PC controller from Aaeon. The series is designed to meets the strong demands emerging for stand-alone and blind node control PCs.

The Boxer Series products are high-performance embedded PCs featuring fanless operation, compact size, robust construction, low power requirements, high vibration and shock protection, wide operating temperature range and certificated embedded OS support.

The AEC-6831 is based on the Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz mobile processor. Features include up to 1 GB of DDR2 in a SODIMM package, dual graphics outputs (VGA and DVI), four USB 2.0 ports, two serial ports, two RJ45 gigabit ethernet ports, audio line in, and out, and an externally accessible Compact Flash slot. The AEC-6831 includes an internal DC to DC converter allowing the unit to operate from a wide range 9-30 V DC supply. An optional external AC power pack is also available. If required, an optional hard disk kit can be installed allowing a 2.5″ IDE hard drive to be fitted.
