Aaeon AEC-6637 embedded controller

The Aaeon AEC-6637 Intel Core i7/i3-based embedded controller is a high-performance, stand-alone embedded PC featuring fanless operation, compact size, robust construction and low power requirements.

The device  can be supplied with an Intel i5-3610ME 2.7 GHz or an i7-3610QE 2.3 GHz multicore processor, and all AEC-6967 models are equipped with one SODIMM socket supporting up to 8 GB of DDR3 system memory, two Gigabit RJ45 ethernet connectors, two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, one RS232/422/485 port and three standard RS232 ports for communication. A 2.5″ SATA hard drive can be internally mounted for operating system and data storage while an internal CFast slot supports the next-generation compact flash storage cards. A mini card slot is provided for additional expansion. VGA video output is provided for graphics displays.

The fanless design reduces the possibility of airborne corrosive or conductive materials entering the system to provide a long-term reliable industrial computing solution.

The device operates from a wide-range 9-30 VDC supply making it suitable for embedded vehicle systems as well as factory control applications.
