Aaeon AEC-6401 ultracompact fanless embedded controller

The Aaeon AEC-6401 ultracompact fanless embedded controller uses an energy-efficient Intel Atom N2600 1.60 GHz processor and Intel NM10 chipset which allows up to 2 GB of DDR3 1066 SDRAM to be installed. The AEC-6401 provides a 12 VDC power input, four USB 2.0 ports, one Gigabit Ethernet port, one RS232 COM and two RS232/422/485 serial ports. RJ connectors are used for all ethernet and serial connections. The AEC-6401 features a mini-SATA connection for high-speed, solid-state data storage and processing and a mini HDMI link for multimedia output. An optional wireless network module is also available.

Measuring 125 x 77 x 20 mm, the solid brushed aluminium enclosure is rugged, vibration resistant and lightweight. With appropriate airflow, the AEC-6401 can operate in temperatures ranging from 0 to 50°C. DIN rail and VESA mounting options allow the AEC-6401 to be installed in almost any location.
