Advantech PCM-9362 3.5" SBC

The PCM-9362 is an industrial-grade 3.5 SBC with an Intel Atom N450 1.66 GHz processor and the dual core D510 1.66 GHz processors with ICH8M chipset. The thermal design power rating of the Intel Atom N450 single core architecture is 5.5 W, and the Intel Atom D510 dual core processor 13 W, enabling further power reductions, smaller systems and performance improvements.

The PCM-9362 features two Intel Giga LAN interfaces (Intel 82567V, Intel 82583V), six USB 2.0 ports, four COM ports, two SATAII interfaces, a CF socket and miniPCIe expansion. The PCM-9362 also supports single 5 V or single 12 V power inputs to fulfil different power requirements. The PCM-9362 is a 3.5 form factor (146 x 102 mm) - the same size as a 3.5 floppy drive bay.

The height, including fanless heatsink on the CPU, is only around 25 mm, and the total height, including low-profile cooler on D510 dual core processor, is around 30 mm, making it suitable for a 1U chassis design. Advantech also provides an optional heat spreader thermal solution that facilitates compact chassis designs with good thermal test results.

The integrated 2D/3D graphics engine supports Dynamic Video Memory Technology 3.0, and Intel Gen 3.5 and DirectX 9 compliant Pixel Shader 2.0. It also supports MPEG2 hardware decoding, and multiple dual independent displays, 18-bit LVDS and CRT.

The PCM-9362 supports up to 2 GB of DDR2 667 memory, and supports Windows 7/XP/XPe, Windows CE 6.0 and QNX operating systems.
