Pepperl+Fuchs’ industrial box thin clients (BTCs) are designed to provide a powerful, reliable virtualisation solution for the demanding conditions of process industries and hazardous areas. Engineered with a rugged, enclosed IP4x aluminium housing, the compact devices are built to withstand extreme temperatures, shock and vibration.

With a fanless design and extended operating temperature range of –20 to +60°C, BTCs provide flexible installation options, whether mounted in control cabinets, on DIN rails or behind monitors. Supporting modern display requirements, models such as the BTC22 and BTC24 enable multi-monitor set-ups, including up to four Ultra HD 4K displays, giving operators a clear view of critical processes. Built for long-term reliability, these thin clients use industrial-grade components with extended hardware and software availability, reducing lifecycle costs and supporting future-proof operation.

Pre-installed with VisuNet RM Shell firmware, they offer simplified configuration, secure remote access, and integration into existing control systems.
