Interworld Electronics has released the AITRON-921E from Aplex, a 21.5″ (1920 x 1080) AI-powered HMI panel PC designed for industrial and semi-outdoor environments where reliable performance and long-term durability are required. Built around the latest Intel Core Ultra 5 or 7 processors, the system integrates CPU, GPU and a dedicated NPU to support advanced automation tasks, real-time analytics and AI-driven applications at the edge. It supports up to 32 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory and M.2 NVMe SSD storage for efficient data handling, while a wide 9–36 VDC power input and fanless design contribute to stable, low-maintenance operation.

The 21.5″ TFT-LCD display offers full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, with an optional 1000 nits high-brightness panel for outdoor or high-glare conditions. The projected capacitive multitouch screen includes a 7H anti-scratch surface, optical bonding, and anti-glare and anti-reflection coatings to maintain visibility in varying light environments. An optional auto-dimming feature allows the display to adjust brightness automatically.

Housed in a die-cast aluminium enclosure, the AITRON-921E has a slim, narrow-bezel design with an IP66-rated front panel and an operating temperature range of 0–50°C. Connectivity includes four USB 3.2 ports, dual 2.5GbE LAN ports, three COM ports, and HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 video ports. Expansion is supported through M.2 slots for wireless and cellular modules, complemented by TPM 2.0, a watchdog timer and Wake-on-LAN.
