Interworld Electronics has announced the APLEX ARCHMI-S-921D, a 21.5″ industrial touch screen panel PC with a rugged fanless design. It features a 12th Gen Intel Core i3-1215U/i5-1235U processor with up to 32 GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM, and support for Windows 10/11 and Linux.

The IP66-rated aluminium front panel provides protection against dust, dirt, grime and water. The ARCHMI-S-921D also features a rugged fanless aluminium die-cast chassis, a wide operating temperature range (0–50°C) and a wide power input range (9–36 VDC). The rugged design of the series is intended to provide 24/7 reliability, make it easy to clean, reduce maintenance costs and provide a long-lasting solution.

The ARCHMI-S-921D features a 21.5″ TFT-LCD with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. It also supports resistive touch, for use with gloves or in areas where the display may be covered in liquid, dirt or dust. Alternatively projected capacitive touch is available: a more rugged option with anti-scratch protection and multi-touch functionality. Optional auto dimming, 1000-nits high brightness, optical bonding and AR coating are also available.

The product includes two USB3.2 and two USB2.0 ports, an RS-232 port, two RS-232/422/485 ports, two LAN ports and an HDMI port that enables users to connect an additional monitor when required. It also has support for expansion via an M.2 E-Key slot and an M.2 B-Key slot (for 4G/5G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth). The ARCHMI-S-921D can also be panel or VESA mounted.
