Advantech UNO-1483G-434AE embedded automation computer

The UNO-1483G-434AE is an Advantech Embedded Automation product, specifically designed for the motion and vision control industries. It has a PCIe expansion slot to insert the controller card for a motion device. It also has an iDoor technology slot which can be used to add a wide range of extra modules for all types of industries.

Advantech has developed the PCM-24R2PE iDoor module, an Intel i350 chipset with two gigabit PoE ports meeting IEEE 802.3af criteria for the vision industry. This enables it to connect directly to CCTV cameras without them needing separate power.

To ensure continued usage, it includes two hot-swappable 9-36 VDC power supplies which take power from two sources.

Even a simple procedure such as a reboot can be tricky when such units are installed in a difficult location; with this in mind, the UNO-1483G-434AE comes with a 3-5 m remote control power cable to access the unit remotely for such functions. The UNO-1483G-434AE also has an easy-access hot swappable RTC battery. Replacing the battery is simply a matter of removing the top lid and can be done without having to turn the power off.

The UNO-1483G-4343AE comes with the latest Intel Core i3-4010U ULT 1.7 GHz Haswell Dual Core 3 MB L2 ULT processor, 8 GB RAM, four GbE ports, two USB 2.0/2 x and USB 3.0 ports, an RS232 port, two RS422/485 ports, one VGA, one Display Port (DP) and one audio port.
