Advantech has announced mass production of its SKY-MXM series, powered by the latest NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell embedded GPUs. Designed for compact systems, these modules are designed to deliver high-performance AI processing, real-time computing and high-resolution graphics, while maintaining low power consumption and long product lifecycles. The initial release targets mainstream applications, with higher-end models to follow, giving developers scalable performance options.

Built on NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture, the SKY-MXM series is designed to enhance AI inference and graphics performance with PCIe Gen5 and GDDR7 memory, enabling faster data transfer and support for larger datasets or multiple high-resolution streams. Features such as fifth-generation Tensor Cores, FP4 precision, DLSS 4, and improved FP32 performance accelerate AI model development and deployment. DP2.1a support enables smooth 4K @ 240 Hz output, suitable for broadcast and extended reality applications.

The line-up includes two models: the SKY-MXM-2000B, a mid-tier module powered by the RTX PRO 2000 GPU for demanding AI, 3D rendering and vision-language model applications; and the SKY-MXM-500B, an entry-level option with the RTX PRO 500 GPU, offering efficient AI acceleration and display capabilities for cost-sensitive or compact designs.

Both models share a compact MXM Type A form factor (82x70 mm), low-power design, and flexible integration via carrier boards. Engineered for real-world use, the SKY-MXM series supports applications in medical imaging, security and broadcasting — making it possible to deliver high-resolution processing and real-time performance in space-constrained environments.
