Food-grade tubing

Tuesday, 07 April, 2009 | Supplied by: SMC Australia | New Zealand

Suitable for temperatures up to +260  °C and with high chemical compatibility, the TD series flexible tubing has been independently tested to comply with food sanitation standards (US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) test 177-1550). Therefore, it is suitable for food, pharmaceutical and other life science environments.

It is also suitable for critical clean in place environments and other critical food-grade areas where temperature and chemical resistance is required.

Manufactured from Denatured PTFE fluorine-based resin, the tubing provides 20% greater flexibility than the TL/TH range of tubing.

The tubing is available in 10 diameters, ranging from 4-12 mm.
