World's smallest machined part on display at Austech
The world's smallest machined part will be on display at Austech 2009, along with a range of new products and technologies showcased for the Australian manufacturing industry.
Developed by ManufactureLink, the tiny, turned surgical pin requires a microscope to be seen.
Other micro-machined components, laser-cut parts, metal injection moulded components, multi-shot moulded plastic products and precision machined components will also be on display at the show as examples of world-class manufacturing available from Australian companies.
Austech will be held in conjunction with National Manufacturing Week at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from 12 to 15 May.
