V-Cone obtains GOST-R certification
McCrometer has announced that its advanced differential pressure V-Cone flow meter has obtained GOST-R certification, meeting Russian national technical standards.
A strict approval process that ensures the accuracy of reporting and metrology, GOST-R certification assures McCrometer users in the Russian market that the V-Cone will accurately and reliably report fluid flows.
The V-Cone flow meter is suitable for a range of oil/gas production and other process industry applications. McCrometer says the V-Cone’s compact design with no moving parts simplifies installation and virtually eliminates maintenance and recalibration, offering a long life and low life-cycle costs.
The flow meter relies on an advanced differential pressure (DP) flow technology designed with built-in flow conditioning to achieve an accuracy of ±0.5%, with a repeatability of ±0.1%. It operates over a flow range of 10:1 and the company says it can be installed virtually anywhere in a piping system or easily retrofitted into an existing piping layout.
