Trans-Tasman tour for control and automation
Rockwell Automation has announced it will transport a new industry event to six cities around Australia and New Zealand this year.
Featuring a trade show-style exhibition and the ‘technology trends’ industrial presentation stream, 'Rockwell Automation On Tour' will highlight the latest developments in the company’s Integrated Architecture portfolio of industrial control and automation solutions.
The roadshow will also provide hands-on technology workshops on a broad range of integrated architecture and safety control capabilities.
The integrated architecture workshops include:
- Process device configuration and calibration using FactoryTalk AssetCentre
- Integrated architecture — putting the pieces together
- Advanced Logix programming
The safety control workshops include:
- Introduction to GuardLogix
- Interfacing GuardLogix with AC drives featuring safe-off
The workshop sessions will operate as concurrent streams run by Rockwell Automation specialists, repeated on each day of the event.
The complimentary two-day event will kick-off at the Melbourne Park Function Centre on 28 April, with the road show progressing to Sydney (26–27 May), Adelaide (10–11 June), Perth (30 June), Brisbane (21–22 July) and Auckland (18–19 August).
