Swagelok Company announces process analyser sampling system training to be held in Australia
Swagelok Company has announced process analyser sampling system training to be held in Australia in June. The live, week-long training course teaches principles and techniques for optimised design, operation and maintenance of process analyser systems.
The course material is appropriate for basic training or as a knowledge refresher for experienced technicians, chemists or engineers. Interested participants can register for either of the following dates:
- 6-10 June, Melbourne
- 13-17 June, Perth
The course instructor is Tony Waters, an industry expert and consultant to the field. Waters has 50 years of experience with sampling systems and is an expert in the application of process analysers in refineries and chemical plants.
During the course, attendees will learn to diagnose sample transport problems, calculate pressure drop in a fast loop or return line, prevent or control phase separation, and read and create sampling system schematics, along with other skills. During the class, participants work in groups to design a sampling system for review at the end of the week.
Registration for the courses is available through any Swagelok authorised sales and service centre. The registration fee includes all course materials and lunch each day. There is a maximum class size of 40 to ensure time for interaction. For companies wishing to train a group of employees at once, Swagelok will bring the training course on site.
