Siemens PLM appoints new Senior VP and MD, APAC

Siemens PLM Software has announced the appointment of KC Yee as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Asia-Pacific. Based in Hong Kong, KC and his team are going to be responsible for sales, sales support and services delivery in the Asia-Pacific region.

With nearly 30 years’ experience, KC has been in Asia-Pacific general management roles for more than 15 years. He most recently served as Vice President and Managing Director, Greater China at Infor Global Solutions Inc, a US$3 billion global applications provider offering ERP, SCM, PLM, accounting and BI solutions. Prior to Infor Global, KC served in various leadership roles across Asia-Pacific including country and regional positions at IBM, SSA, Atos, JD Edwards and Serena Software.

Starting as a sales executive at IBM, KC’s career has taken him into sales management, sales operations, product management, and consulting and services practice management. While most of his career had been spent selling and implementing solutions to the manufacturing industry and industrial sector companies, KC also has had exposure to distribution, banking, insurance, transport and telecommunication industries.

KC received his MBA from Cranfield School of Management. He graduated from National University of Singapore where he received a Bachelor of Science.
