Siemens has enhanced its channel partner program with the recent appointment of a number of new authorised resellers throughout Australia for industrial products.

Adicon (based in Victoria), Triflex Automation (in Sydney) and Central Qld Hi Tech Pty Ltd (in Queensland) are some of the new partners to join Siemens’ already established network of specialist authorised resellers.

Bernhard Kienlein, Vice-President of Siemens Industry Solutions, Industry Automation and Drive Technologies, explained the benefits of the enhanced program. “With the addition of our new authorised resellers, this further strengthens the overall Siemens partner network which includes our highly valued solution partners and authorised resellers.

“We consider our authorised resellers and solution partners to be vital in our overall channel strategy. We have developed strong relationships, and have established and strengthened our business partnerships with them over many years. We expect the relationship with our newest partners to continue to grow rapidly and follow the same path as our existing partners well into the future.

“The expansion of our channel partner program to include additional specialist resellers represents a great benefit to our customers and stakeholders. Now, not only do they have access to our certified solution partners who provide engineered solutions, but they can also rely on our extended reseller community for technical support, spare parts, logistical and sales support.”

Kienlein explained the approach behind the expansion of Siemens' channel partner program. “The marketplace is obviously becoming more and more competitive in these challenging times. As competition increases, our customers need more choice and greater flexibility in the type of service they require from us and our channel partners. Our enhanced channel partner program will provide this for customers.

“We are very pleased to now have the additional authorised resellers working alongside our existing partners. This will ensure our level of customer satisfaction continues to improve as we move forward.”

The official signing of the new authorised resellers occurred at Siemens Head Office in Bayswater, Victoria, in February 2009.
