Siemens announces sole authorised reseller in Tasmania
Siemens has announced Tasmanian Process Instruments (TPI) as the state’s sole authorised reseller of Siemens automation technology, drives and process instrumentation. TPI will now provide inventory assistance, pre- and post-sales technical support and deliver a personalised and complete service across multiple technology platforms for Siemens customers.
“This expansion of TPI’s portfolio gives the local industrial and manufacturing market the ability to approach one reseller for all their Siemens products and allows us to concentrate our support efforts via a single reselling channel,” Siemens Channel Program Manager, Peter Dixon, said.
Siemens’ previous association with TPI had been limited to the supply of process instrumentation products. The contract agreement will authorise TPI - which has been operating in Tasmania for more than seven years - as a reliable local partner, with the ability to provide a greater number of Siemens products in Tasmania and a faster, more efficient service for local installation.
“TPI is very excited to further develop our relationship with Siemens. We believe having a local reseller for Siemens equipment will significantly benefit the Tasmanian industry,“ said TPI's General Manager, Rod Owers.
