Romaco Group recognised as innovation leader

Monday, 16 June, 2014

Romaco Group has been recognised for its innovation by Wirtschaftswoche magazine. The company was awarded first prize in the Pharmaceutical Machinery segment and was named runner-up in the Process and Packaging Machinery category.

The Munich Strategy Group (MSG), a leading management consultant from Bavaria, conducted an empirical study to measure the innovative vitality of German SMEs in all industries. More than three thousand different enterprises participated, including 25% from the engineering sector. The 50 best innovation leaders were filtered out on behalf of Wirtschaftswoche, the prestigious business weekly.

The criteria assessed were firstly business performance - financial indicators and market position - and secondly parameters for evaluating the culture of innovation, such as innovation strategies and innovation processes.

“The award is concrete proof that we are one of the best and most innovative SMEs anywhere in Germany. It builds trust among our customers, partners and staff and it sets us apart from our competitors. Romaco’s demonstrable innovative strength is the starting point for a new business model: Romaco goes beyond technology!” said Paulo Alexandre, CEO of the Romaco Group.
