Rockwell wins Cisco IoE Partner of the Year 2013
Rockwell Automation has been announced as Cisco Internet of Everything Partner of the Year at the Cisco Australia and New Zealand Partner Insight Awards.
Cisco Systems recently announced the winners at its Partner Insight Conference, as part of the Cisco Live! event in Melbourne.
“Rockwell Automation is very excited to be awarded the Cisco Internet of Everything Partner of the Year for 2013,” said David Hegarty, managing director, Australia and New Zealand, Rockwell Automation.
“Through the recent acceleration of the Industrial Internet of Things, opportunities continue to crystallise for manufacturers. Together with Cisco, we see that there are great opportunities to educate and speed the adoption of these key enabling technologies to help our customers create and realise value in their operations.”
The two companies have a longstanding strategic alliance that sees the companies work together to develop products, reference architectures and training for the industrial sector. The Internet of Things can help industrial customers lay a foundation for a highly secure, connected enterprise using standard unmodified ethernet to connect people, processes, data and things to drive greater productivity and sustainable, competitive differentiation.

The Internet of Everything Partner of the Year Award recognised Rockwell Automation for taking an innovative approach to addressing customers’ business requirements, focusing on sales and technical excellence in delivering strong customer satisfaction and helping clients prepare for the major industry transitions such as the Internet of Everything.
Cisco ANZ’s Partner Insight Awards celebrate innovation, leadership and excellence within the business partner community. Award criteria include: innovative and architecture-led approach to success, business differentiation and strategic outcomes, and deep customer understanding. All winners were selected by a group of Cisco Australia and New Zealand Partner and Country executives
