Rockwell beefs up project management services
Rockwell Automation has established a dedicated team of professional project managers to provide its customers with higher levels of project delivery quality and consistency. Spread across key business centres throughout Australia, each member of the team is now a full-time senior project manager, who can combine project management with industry experience and knowledge. All members of the team are Project Management Institute (PMI) certified.
The professional project management team members are supervised and coordinated by an Australia-based project managers’ office (PMO) manager. “There is a push to ensure global consistency in the delivery of projects, and this is part of the PMO manager’s role,” said Rockwell Automation Systems and Solutions Business Manager South Pacific, Paul Ponticello.
“Rockwell Automation has a wealth of industry expertise, supported by the latest technology. However, without the appropriate discipline - in terms of the professional project management methodology that goes into scoping, managing and delivering projects - it is difficult to deliver the outstanding results our customers deserve,” he said.
