Robotic Automation joins Varley Group

Automation company Robotic Automation has announced it has become part of engineering company Varley Group.

Established in 1886, Varley Group is a longstanding Australian advanced engineering and manufacturing organisations and remains Australian owned and operated. Robotic Automation sees the acquisition as an “exciting new chapter” for the company, creating a stronger platform for growth, innovation and long-term customer support.

The company says the acquisition delivers several key benefits for customers, employees and the broader Australian manufacturing sector, including:

  • backing from a large, financially strong Australian engineering and manufacturing group
  • increased investment in automation, robotics and emerging technologies
  • expanded engineering and technical resources
  • greater project delivery capability and capacity
  • enhanced national service and support coverage
  • long-term business stability and succession planning
  • continued commitment to local jobs, local engineering talent and Australian manufacturing.

Robotic Automation says it will continue to operate with the same focus, customer relationships and commitment to delivering high-quality automation solutions that improve productivity, safety and competitiveness across Australian industry.

At a time when many engineering and manufacturing businesses are being acquired by overseas interests, the partnership represents the coming together of two Australian-owned companies committed to investing in local industry, local jobs, sovereign capability and the future of advanced manufacturing.
