Registration open for National Manufacturing Week 2019

Registration has opened for the 20th National Manufacturing Week, which will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from 14–17 May.

The primary focus and theme of the conference and exhibition will be ‘Industrial Evolution’. As explained by Exhibition Director Robby Clark, “This year’s event is focused on supporting manufacturing’s continuing evolution to a high-tech, highly integrated and innovative industry, while providing the latest expert insights, industry research and technology to generate even greater momentum.

“With a focus on automation, collaborative robots, the Internet of Things and high-level engineering, the 20th edition of National Manufacturing Week will offer industry professionals and decision-makers an unmissable opportunity to acquire new insights and solutions for ongoing operational success.”

The 2019 conference program, developed through a collaboration between National Manufacturing Week, Austech and the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre, will feature more than 70 expert speakers, who will share exclusive insights into the latest manufacturing developments across two theatres and conference streams.

The Industry 4.0 Theatre conference program will offer attendees the latest insights, developments and research about the impact of Industry 4.0 on businesses and operations. The Connected Manufacturing Theatre program is meanwhile targeted at business owners, managers, WHS professionals and designers, offering attendees expert advice on business management, design and industrial safety.

The exhibition will feature over 200 industrial suppliers of new technology, advanced manufacturing products and operational services. Visitors will be able to take advantage of six designated product zones: Automation & Robotics, Engineering, Industrial Internet of Things, Safety, Welding Technology, and Manufacturing Solutions.
