Phoenix rises to make the MacLean connection

MacLean Electrical (formerly JT Day Pty Ltd) has been appointed as the official platinum industrial distributor and stockist for Phoenix Contact products for Western Australia and Queensland.

Phoenix Contact is a provider of industrial connection technology and automation that covers a wide range of market applications. Since establishing its Australian presence in 1996, Phoenix Contact has been committed to providing excellent support and reliable service to its Australian customer base.

The award of Platinum Distributor cements MacLean Electrical’s presence in Western Australia and opens up new markets in Queensland. This also represents a shift in focus for Phoenix Contact, allowing them to concentrate on product development and technical innovation while MacLean manages stock, distribution and supply chain.

With over 55 years of distribution experience across many industrial segments, MacLean Electrical has a long history of bringing together and distributing a wide range of products from manufacturers renowned for technical innovation and reliability.

“This is another example of our commitment to delivering the highest quality products conforming to the highest test standards available,” MacLean Electrical General Manager Brian Prunty said. “We are looking forward to working with Phoenix Contact and building a successful, long-term relationship to satisfy the demands of the current and future customers of our business.

“This brings exciting developments to MacLean Electrical, allowing us to broaden our portfolio and extend our geographic reach. Establishing this partnership leads the way for our plans to extend service levels, providing local representatives combined with local stock, fast response and technical product support from both our Perth and Brisbane facilities.”

MacLean Electrical Group Ltd acquired JT Day Pty Ltd in 2006. With branches in Perth and Brisbane, JT Day has now been rebranded and trades as MacLean Electrical.
