Phoenix Contact acquires Swiss company NSE
Phoenix Contact has taken over the NSE AG from Wohlen in Switzerland, effective from 31 May 2017. In doing so, Phoenix Contact further establishes its competence in the energy sector.
As a developer and manufacturer of safety relays and control units for medium- and high-voltage applications, NSE is technologically leading in the area of protection technology in the energy sector. NSE’s patented cutting-edge protection technology, as well as high-performance and proprietary algorithms, is based on comprehensive research.
The product range of NSE is complemented by support, project management and after-sales services. Since its foundation in 1999, the company has become a specialist in secondary protection technology and employs around 15 employees today.
