Outlook bright for NSW economy, says SAGE Automation
Things are looking up for the New South Wales economy, according to SAGE Automation. SAGE has projected an optimistic outlook for strong growth in NSW and has demonstrated its commitment to the NSW market by appointing a Business Development Manager for NSW.
Martin Boers was appointed as the Business Development Manager earlier this year, coming to the position from Phoenix Contact, where he was the Business Unit Manager for Sales and Marketing. He has 20 years’ engineering experience with industrial automation technology and system integration companies in Australia and Europe.

Boers said he sees opportunities across the industry sectors in which SAGE operates. “The state government’s recent announcement of record infrastructure investment, particularly in the areas of road and rail, is providing great opportunities for SAGE in NSW.
“And while there is much talk of a downturn in manufacturing, food and beverage companies in particular are meeting the challenge of rising costs through process efficiency improvements, including the increased use of automation and manufacturing execution systems to implement lean manufacturing principles.”
SAGE Automation’s CEO, Adrian Fahey, described the outlook for SAGE as “bright” and said, “SAGE is certainly well positioned to continue on our growth journey and I’m extraordinarily proud of our team in NSW for the part they are playing in this growth.”
