NSW opens expressions of interest for Bradfield enterprise precinct

The NSW Government has announced it has opened expressions of interest for a development partner to deliver Bradfield City’s Enterprise Precinct.

Located next to the Advanced Manufacturing Precinct and a short walk from the City Precinct, new Bradfield Metro Station and two-hectare Central Park, the Enterprise Precinct is expected to become a thriving business precinct for blue-chip businesses, small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs), startups, researchers and education institutions.

The EOI aims to identify an experienced development partner to help realise the precinct’s potential and deliver an initial 6.7 ha of land to support local industry, high-value jobs, investment and stronger supply chains.

The Enterprise Precinct is expected to attract businesses in advanced manufacturing, construction innovation, aerospace, semiconductor technology, clean technology, freight and logistics, education and research, defence and supporting sectors, and the government says there is already a strong pipeline of prospective businesses hoping to establish themselves in Bradfield City close to the Western Sydney International Airport and connected by the M12 Motorway.

This EOI takes the next step to turn that demand into a reality, connecting Western Sydney’s workforce with education and research partners to create a thriving hub for jobs and innovation.

A further 7 ha may be released to the chosen development partner following completion of the first Enterprise Precinct stage.

“With Western Sydney International Airport now open, Bradfield City sits at the centre of innovation in Australia, and with that comes jobs, industry and economic opportunities, where locals can build careers close to home,” said Deputy Premier Prue Car.

“Bradfield City is well on its way to becoming a thriving hub for jobs, industry and innovation, and the Enterprise Precinct is a critical part of that vision,” said Minister for Planning and Public Spaces Paul Scully. “The strong response from prospective businesses shows there is real demand from advanced industries to establish and grow in Bradfield City.”
