New engineering virtual training alliance launched
WF Media, publisher of Process Technology magazine and www.ProcessOnline.com.au, has formed an alliance with one of Australia’s premier engineering and technical training organisations, Engineering Institute of Technology.
The alliance will see the two companies market and deliver a series of short online courses aimed at upskilling and refreshing the existing skill sets of engineering professionals, at a time when live courses are not an option and continuing education continues to be highly relevant.
The first two courses were launched this week, and will run across August and September, covering the following topics: Practical Troubleshooting of Ethernet TCP/IP and Modbus Protocols and Troubleshooting & Best Practice in Process Control & Loop Tuning. Each course runs for a total of 7.5 hours, in three weekly 2.5-hour blocks. Further courses are being developed and will be announced shortly.
A new ‘Training Zone’ section has been added to selected WF Media online platforms, including ProcessOnline, ECDonline and CriticalComms, where new courses will be added in the weeks and months to come.
Engineering, technical and technology professionals across Australia and New Zealand will benefit from this new partnership between the region’s longest established B2B technology and industrial media company and one of Australia’s premier engineering training organisations.
