Moog Australia appoints new MD

Motion control solutions manufacturer Moog Australia has appointed David Hodge as the managing director.

Hodge succeeds Roy Park, who was the head of Moog’s operations in Australia for the past 25 years.

Hodge has worked in Moog’s Space & Defense Group for 12 years and has spent the past three years in Japan developing the space and defence business in the Asia–Pacific region.

Moog Australia provides high-performance motion control solutions using hydraulic and electric technology for applications including structural testing of fighter aircraft, kinematic and compliance testing of automobile suspensions and turret controls for armoured vehicles.

Moog Australia has local design and manufacturing capability and provides aftermarket support for a number of military programs, the power generation industry and other applications in Australia.
