Madison Technologies expands hazardous area networking range
Madison Technologies has been appointed as the exclusive distributor of the Solexy explosion-proof and intrinsically safe communications product range in Australia and New Zealand.
Solexy’s president, Giovanni Soldo, said, “We are very pleased to have such a strong channel partner in Australia as Madison Technologies, who are well regarded as industry experts in industrial communications, and we look forward to a strong and fruitful partnership together.”
Solexy’s interfacing and telemetry solutions are used worldwide in explosive environments within refineries, oil and gas platforms, petrochemical plants, underground coal mines and the process industry.

The general manager for Madison Technologies’ Industrial Communication business unit, Lee Papadimitrious, commented, “The Solexy range complements our current portfolio of industrial communications solutions allowing for a more comprehensive and complete end-to-end solution delivery.
“This agreement gives us the opportunity to leverage Madison’s communications expertise in new areas within the mining, oil and gas and process verticals where explosive environments are a key consideration,” he said.
The Solexy range of hazardous area products include Ethernet barriers, rugged antennas, antenna couplers and explosion-proof housings.
