Madison Group Enterprises announces four new businesses

In its 30th year of operation, Madison Technologies has announced that it will operate as four businesses under a new parent company, Madison Group Enterprises. Those businesses are Madison Technologies, mIoT, Madison Express and MadisonAV.

  • Madison Technologies: Madison Technologies is a design and engineering based value-added distributor of technology products and solutions for industrial, telecommunications and commercial applications. This business will continue to represent leading brands including Moxa, Mobotix, Cybertec and Rajant, as well as house brands of manufactured products for the broader communications industry. Madison Technologies operates primarily under a direct supply model.
  • mIoT: Madison Group’s newest enterprise is a developer and manufacturer of Industrial IoT edge device products. This business is involved in creating and developing leading-edge technology that relates to the mass deployment of remote monitoring devices, operating on the narrowband (industrial) section of the cellular network spectrum (NB-IoT).
  • Madison Express: Previously the cabling and connectivity arm, specialising in the distribution of communications cable and connectivity products, with its primary channel to market being via electrical wholesalers and resellers. Madison Express represents a range of brands including 3M and R&M as well as Madison’s own range of Garland Cable products.
  • MadisonAV: Previously Broadcast and AV, now a dedicated specialist AV Partner and distributor of professional audiovisual products for the end user and integration market. MadisonAV represents a range of leading brands such as Philips and Spinetix and including the HARMAN portfolio of professional products incorporating AMX, JBL, Crown, BSS, AKG and DBX that all offer technology solutions for commercial audio, digital signage and videoconferencing systems.

Supporting these operational businesses will be Madison Group Enterprises Pty Ltd, which replaces the overall Madison Technologies brand as previously known. Madison Group Enterprises (MGE) will be the entity with which customers trade, while day-to-day dealings will be with one or more of the specific Group businesses.
