Krohne offers free seminar on Functional Safety
Process instrumentation company Krohne is currently offering free online seminars on Safety Instrumented Functions (SIF) in the process industry, addressing key operating issues from the basics, the latest changes of the IEC 61508 and ways of optimisation of SIF according to the standards IEC 61508/61511.
The Krohne Academy event is offered in collaboration with Phoenix Contact, AUMA, HIMA, Samson, exida, Ramsys, Yncoris and Dow Chemical. The company says the content is educational and not product promotional.
Podium discussions offer end-user and manufacturer perspectives on topics such as automating partial proof tests, designing single point responsibility by integrating high integrity protection systems (HIPS) and actuator sizing according to WIB standards. In addition, 10 presentations by industry experts cover a wide range of practical topics on technology, standards and best practices.
To make the seminar content available internationally across time zones, all presentations and podium discussions are recorded and available on demand through 1 July 1 2022. An online chat function enables personal interaction with all speakers.
This Krohne Academy is completely free for registered delegates. Find more details and register at https://safety.krohne.academy/.
