Key safety leaders to gather in Perth to discuss workplace safety
Industry professionals from workplace health and safety, manufacturing, engineering, transport, mining, government and the corporate sectors will gather in Perth, 1-2 June 201, for Safety in Action. Staged at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, the workplace safety event will feature a comprehensive seminar program and 100 exhibitors under one roof, all focused on how to make employee safety a key priority.
“The Safety in Action exhibition will shine the spotlight on employee health and safety, and educate organisations on a range of ways to create a healthier and safer workplace — from introducing mental health programs to investing in the latest safety developments and equipment,” said Keith Barks, general manager at Informa Australia, organiser of the event.
Mental health and workplace wellness will be a key focus of the seminar series, following the high demand for this content at last year’s national event. Presented by leading industry experts, the seminar series will be a pivotal part of the 2-day event, and full details will be released shortly.
Companies exhibiting include: Myosh, Trainwest, Mayo Hardware, Atom, Ever Green and DMA Supplies. A full list of exhibitors can be found here.
Attendance at Safety in Action Perth is free and open to any business and professional with a safety interest. You can register your place at the event online.
A second Safety in Action exhibition will be hosted in 2016, with Sydney hosting the national Safety in Action exhibition from 6–8 September 2016. For more information, visit the website.
