IDC technologies offer government-endorsed diplomas

Monday, 01 December, 2008

IDC Technologies has won a contract with Western Power to provide the training and associated materials for the Diploma in Power Transmission based on the standards efforts of EE-OZ.

EE-Oz Training Standards is the Australian government-declared industry skills council for the Australian energy utilities industries. EE-Oz Training Standards has primary responsibility for developing and maintaining training packages for the industries under its coverage. These include the electrotechnology, gas and electricity supply industries. These training standards are now recognised as the essential qualification for anyone working in the electrical power transmission area.

IDC Technologies has trained over 250,000 engineers and technicians throughout the world over the past 20 years with practical electrical and mechanical engineering workshops. IDC is now able to launch this initiative on a nationwide basis and offer the opportunity to attend this highly respected and nationally accredited training.

There are three training approaches being offered — to put selected staff members on a distance learning (e-learning) initiative with a live instructor, to have IDC provide customised course materials to your requirements and then to follow up an on-site presentation, or to have multiple staff to go through the diploma, which can be presented on site.

For more information, send an email to training@idc-online.com or call 1300 138 522 and ask for Kevin Baker or Steve Mackay.
