HYDAC wins Australian Business Award

HYDAC Australia/New Zealand has been recognised as an ABA100 Winner for Training Excellence in the Australian Business Awards 2022.

The Australian Business Awards (ABA), now in their 17th year, recognise organisations that demonstrate the core values of business innovation, product innovation, technological achievement and employee engagement via a set of established business and product award categories.

HYDAC Technical Training Manager Paul Marley said the latest award affirms HYDAC’s commitment to innovation when it comes to training in various formats.

“Everyone is aware of the skills shortage, but it is especially acute in the maintenance and repair of fluid power equipment,” he said. “It’s here that we offer unique industry-focused training courses to empower engineers, technicians and students in gaining the know-how they need to maximise machine profitability.”

According to a HYDAC spokesperson, HYDAC jumped at the opportunity to benchmark itself against other players in the industry.

“We know that our extensive training offerings meet just about every conceivable requirement in a sophisticated, relevant, concise and technologically savvy way,” they said. “To have the effort we’ve put into our training outcomes acknowledged and celebrated once again is very gratifying.”

This is not the first time HYDAC has won the award for Training Excellence: it also won the award in 2019 and 2020.

Participation in the awards is open to all private and public companies, multinationals and their subsidiaries, non-government organisations, educational institutions, government departments, government agencies, government authorities and statutory bodies that have successfully implemented a business, management or community initiative in Australia.

Initiatives can be internal or external and include implementing a project, program, process, service, system, technology, development, joint venture or undertaking.
