FLNG to feature at oil and gas event
Floating LNG (FLNG) will be a major topic of conversation for the annual Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference (AOG), to be held in Perth next March.
The focus on FLNG will be headlined by Royal Dutch Shell on day two of the event, with keynote presentations by Vice President of Development, Neil Gilmour, and Shell Australia’s General Manager Production Mark Schubert and Technology Manager Clause Otto.
FLNG is seen by many as the best answer for the development of stranded and previously uncommercial gas fields.
Building capabilities for the future of the Australian oil and gas sector will be a key theme at AOG in 2015, which will have a major focus on Australian content, featuring presentations by contract specialists from leading project operating companies. The conference will also address the ‘booming’ subsea sector.
The AOG 2015 Exhibition will include areas catering to the specialist nature of the oil and gas sector, including a Non-Destructive Testing and Condition Monitoring zone, an Instrumentation Control and Automation zone, a Subsea zone, a Health, Safety and Environment zone and an Education, Research and Training zone.
Exhibitors from over 20 countries have been confirmed.
AOG will be staged at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from 11-13 March 2015. For more details, visit the event website on www.aogexpo.com.au.
