ETG to showcase 360 EtherCAT products at SPS IPC Drives

Friday, 23 November, 2012

Together with 58 co-exhibitors, the EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) will display 360 EtherCAT products at the SPS IPC Drives 2012 in Nuremberg from 27 to 29 November. An ETG press conference and the annual membership assembly will round off the tradeshow program.

ETG’s booth will offer members a platform to present their latest EtherCAT products, services and expertise in one place. “With about 80 new components and automation solutions from our members, we were once again able to extend the presence of EtherCAT at this important trade show in 2012,” said Oliver Fels from ETG’s technology marketing team.

The products and solutions range from drive technologies and controls to I/O systems, gateways, sensors and actuators up to the 12.5 µs cycle time demo, which ETG said “caused a sensation” at the 2012 Hannover Fair.

The ETG team will offer visitors expert information on topics such as developing or certifying their own EtherCAT devices. In addition, EtherCAT masters, configuration tools and development products can be tested live at the ETG joint booth.

The ETG booth will be located in hall 6, booth 208.
