E+H sets new patent record
Over 200 inventors from the Endress+Hauser Group worldwide gathered recently to celebrate the company’s new record of 182 patent applications in 2007.
They also acknowledged the winners of the ‘Patent Rights Incentive Awards’, which honours patents with a substantial and positive effect on business development.
“Our ‘Patent Rights Incentive Program’ has really shown how effective it is,” said Dieter Schaudel, E+H board member in charge of technology, engineering and IT.
“Since we launched our incentive program eight years ago, the number of annual patent applications of the Endress+Hauser Group has more than trebled.”
Endress+Hauser is a global leader in measurement instrumentation, services and solutions for industrial process engineering. With over 7000 employees worldwide, the Group generates annual net sales of about €1 billion (AU$1.7 billion).
